ABOUT ME

​

I am an experienced artist and illustrator who specializes in archaeological/historical reconstruction drawings, paleoart and natural history related work.  My passion is capturing the reality of the past and the fine detail of nature, representing both in a vivid and detailed way.

 

I work primarily in pen & ink and acrylics, and have undertaken projects as diverse as millitary uniform guides through heritage information panels to children's wildlife illustrations.

 

My whittling, green woodworking and walking stick making is a further expression of my love for the outdoors and nature in general, which also inspires much of my landscape drawings and paintings -  that I produce both to exhibit and to commission.
