I have had the privilege of being a guest writer for the blog of fantasy author Penelope Wallace, creator of Ragaris, whose rich, gritty, faux-medieval world is populated by thought provoking characters and paradigm shifting social norms (in short, Ragaris is a Middle Ages in which both women and men are completely equal).
Asked to write s short piece on my own time travelling world and the Unnatural History Museum, I have taken the opportunity to set out some of my thoughts about fantasy and fiction, my motivations behind writing these stories and my ideas about the use of magic/the miraculous in fantasy fiction.
With luck you'll learn a little bit more about what makes me tick, where I am going, and I do hope you'll take the time to linger and investigate the world of Ragaris and Swords Without Misogyny!

Penny's superb fantasy novels 'We Do Not Kill Children,' and 'The Tenth Province of Jaryar' are available via Amazon and direct from her website, so if you fancy dipping into a world of justice and political intrigue in which both men and women wear the sword with complete equality then I'd strongly recommend picking up a copy!
