Sketching in the Lakes.

Allan Bank (National Trust), Grasmere, proved a superb venue for an impromptu sketch of the Fells last week. This inspiring building - and former home of Poet William Wordsworth - provides a fantastic space for families to come and enjoy the history and natural history of the Lakes. Plenty of space to run around in, learn and explore, is made even better by a room which provides phenomenal views, good lighting and craft materials to use for a small donation. We had fun!
